An international event Organized by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association and held every two years in autumn, the Tokyo Motor Show features a very wide range of the latest vehicle models.

It may seem like I drive around Japan looking for garages (OK, I do sometimes do that), but the truth is, there's at least one in every neighborhood, so these places are very easy to chance upon when you're out and about.

Daikoku PA Daikoku is a highway parking area (PA) in Yokohama, just outside Tokyo's boundaries. It is accessible exclusively by car. What makes it an exception is that historically, it's been where car enthusiasts meet almost every day.

Tatsumi Parking Area (PA) - Tokyo: Another well-known car meet spot, Tatsumi PA, attracts car lovers from all over Tokyo. It's a great place to see a wide variety of modified cars and sports cars.
